Hi, Peter and JP

The three icons that are missing in k3b:

1/ = /usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/16x16/actions/view_icon.png
2/ = /usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/16x16/actions/view_detailed.png
3/ = /usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/16x16/actions/bookmark.png

If you open up a previous build of kdelibs, copy over the crystalsvg icons to your /usr/share/icons, your icons will reappear. Seems in the last build of kdelibs, we ended up with ~90 icons where the earlier builds had 230+. I don't know where the large reduction of icons came from, but certainly many of the kde programs need them. With the last snapshot update, I began to notice many of my kde icons had disappeared, as did a few of the Tango set.

Hi Pat,

I'm mostly to blame for your icon-problems ;-)

The change is intentional. I'll include the (crystalsvg) ones you are now missing into kdebase. We are trying to make a relatively light kdelibs, one that uses Tango-icons only. These Tango-icons come from zenwalk's the icons-package. The ones Gérard was reporting upon where the three that went 'missing' in the Tango icons theme.

Until i generate a 'matching' kdebase for this (50.x) kdelibs, there is no really good combination of kdebase/kdelibs in 'snapshot'. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is a 'work in progress'. For 'snapshot' that should not really be a surprise ;-)

Even worse, i do not think that i will ever build a kdebase that matches *this* kdelibs: i'm switching to kdelibs-3.5.8 at the moment. I will also try to build -if time permits..- a sensible complete kde-3.5.8 'old-style' for 'current'. I just hope i will *never* mix up the resulting two sets of packages :-P

bye,

Peter
