Ok, thanks Peter for the detailed info.  I didn't want to point fingers, 
but thought you might have had a hand in it.  A slimmed down kdelibs, 
huh?  That's an interesting idea.  Maybe it would be possible then to 
make the icons part of another package for those wanting to have "all" 
of the group.  Of course, I suppose it might end up being possible to 
make some Tango comparative svg types too.  It's just getting the KDE 
programs to use those that might end up being your nightmare.  ;-)

Building two packages might become a brain teaser also.  I think 
overall, we can deal with the new setup, so I'm not sure two different 
packages would make good use of your compiling time.  So you are going 
ahead and do the 3.5.8 then?  I had understood, from another email 
list, that it wasn't quite ready for prime time yet.  I forgot what 
things were finished, so am surprised you have decided to run with it 
so soon.
