Selon Sebastian Reisse <sebastian.j.reisse@xxxxxxx>:

Well I wonder how performant KDE ZW is running on older Hardware with less
RAM. If you really go for KDE it is definitly bloated and not _ZEN_
anymore...

You should try to understand things before stating

Please stop discussing every new feature we put in the SNAPSHOT. I'm not
supposed to justify anything I do.
Well if you see it that way I am afraid more devs will leave the project
sooner or later...

Should I care ?

Understand me : I started this project alone, for fun, because I was willing to
create an original version of Slackware, because it was a way to learn about
Linux... now 4 years later, I usually spend 4 hours by day uploading packages,
answering mails, searching for solutions to bugs, searching for new features to
add, finding the best applications for the desktop, designing icon sets, and
it's even difficult to find time for coding new system tools. So now, 4 years
later, do you believe that Zenwalk is essential for me now ? Do you think that
I'm still studying computer science in some high school and have plenty of time
to spend on open source projects ?

In fact I have a job with some responsabilities, a wife, a child, a jazz quartet
band, several books to read, a big house to work on, some friends to meet more
often, a dog to take a walk with more often, and some wines I never tasted.

Just to put some zen it this discuss : I can help you to taste your wines (and I can bring some of mine ;) )

Crocus
In some sense it is still a fun hobby, and I feel some responsibility toward the
user community. But it's fun as long as it remains my vision of what a Linux
system should be, and I'm oàpen minded, so be sure that wrong choices will be
cancelled.

As long as Zenwalk exist I will continue to drive the design choices. If it
happens that I get too much trouble with this project I will stop working on it
instantly and begin to live normally, and play guitar more often.

So it's really the last time I will write down about this topic.

If you believe it's enough : goodby

JP
