Hello Jean-Philippe,

For the last few years, I have used Slackware as my main Linux distribution because it was very reliable and it always seemed to get the job done for me. Lately I have been checking out other distributions and testing them out. Every form of Linux I tried didn’t measure up to what Slackware had to offer until I found your operating system. Being based off Slackware, I found Zenwalk to be an excellent choice as an alternate, or even a replacement. You have designed a very good distribution which I believe deserves more spotlight and attention for all the reliability and breakthroughs you have made.

Well to cut to the chase, I found your OS, figured out what a great system it is, and started playing with it. I understand your on your 5^th major release already and you have amazing step forwards on connectivity with all of the wireless drivers and NDISWRAPPER included in the distro. But for your next release, I think it would be awesome to develop multiple versions of Zenwalk for different demographics. For instance, there are some out there who use many different graphics programs maybe not included with the regular release of Zenwalk. Or maybe there could be a way online to choose which packages to include with the initial download. Idk, food for thought. But anyways, I started thinking about a next release, then I started playing with different designs. I came up with something I found to be rather revolutionary and modern which I attached. You can choose to use or not, it doesn’t matter, I just thought I’d share my thoughts and my designs with you. But other than that, great job with Zenwalk! Keep up the good work!
